Die Angebote richten sich an ALLE Mitarbeitenden mit Arbeitsvertrag an der Universität Osnabrück und dazugehörigen Instituten, z. B. iDerm. Sollte es Einschränkungen bzgl. der Zielgruppe geben, werden diese im Titel oder der Beschreibung deutlich gemacht. „Globaler Status ist Lehrende/r“ bedeutet NICHT, dass der Kurs nur für Personen aus der Lehre ist. ALLE Mitarbeitenden mit Arbeitsvertrag haben den globalen Status Lehrende/r und dürfen teilnehmen!! Der Status ist eine von Stud.IP vergebene Bezeichnung und muss mit angegeben werden, um sicherzustellen, dass nur Mitarbeitende der UOS sich anmelden können.
Im universitären Alltag begegnen wir Menschen mit vielfältigen Geschlechtern. Der Umgang mit dieser Vielfalt wird besonders im alltäglichen Sprachgebrauch noch oft als Herausforderung erlebt, beispielsweise beim Wunsch passende Pronomen zu verwenden. Welche häufigen sprachlichen Fallstricke gibt es und wie lässt sich das alles in der Praxis umsetzen?
Dieser Kurs beleuchtet zunächst die Vor- und Nachteile verschiedener Möglichkeiten der geschlechtergerechten und geschlechterinklusiven Sprache. Gemeinsam wollen wir eine Idee entwickeln, wie einfach oder kompliziert geschlechterinklusive Sprache ist. Wann, wie und wo sind sprachliche Veränderungen im Alltag sinnvoll? Dafür diskutieren wir die unterschiedlichen Möglichkeiten inklusiver Sprache, besprechen Neopronomen und klären, was es mit dem Begriff „Deadname" eigentlich auf sich hat.
Im zweiten Teil des Workshops gibt es die Gelegenheit, einen kurzen Blick in die hitzigen Debatten rund um geschlechterinklusive Sprache zu werfen. Denn diese Debatten finden nicht nur in Zeitungen oder in der Politik, sondern auch im universitären Alltag zunehmend statt. Die Diskussionen zum Thema Sprache und geschlechtliche Vielfalt überraschen und überfordern im Arbeitsalltag manchmal. Im Rahmen des Workshops gibt es Raum, um gemeinsam Strategien zu entwickeln, wie wir mit diesen Diskussionen im Arbeitsalltag in der Verwaltung und Technik professionell und kompetent umgehen können.
