Kirchen- und religionsgeschichtliche Exkursion nach Konstantinopel/Istanbul (7.-12.10.2024)

Seit seiner Gründung, 325 durch Konstantin dem Großen, dem ersten christlichen Kaiser, war Konstantinopel das lange Zeit wichtigste Zentrum der Christenheit, das "zweite Rom". 1453 wurde es von den Türken erobert, und aus Konstantinopel wurde Istanbul, Kirchen wurden in Moscheen umgewandelt.
Konstantinopel ist eine Reise wert! Wir sehen die Zeugnisse der spätantiken und mittelalterlichen Christenheit und lernen auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten aus islamischer Zeit kennen und ein Stück Türkei, exakt an der Grenze zwischen Europa und Asien. Kleinere Ausflüge in die Umgebung, unter anderem nach Chalcedon, der Konzilsstadt des Jahres 451, runden das Programm ab.
Wir organisieren die Reise nicht selbst, sondern lassen sie uns von "Biblische Reisen" organisieren. Die verbindliche Anmeldung machen Sie direkt bei diesem Veranstalter und entscheiden auch selbst, ob Sie eine Versicherung abschließen wollen oder nicht. Sie bezahlen den vollen Teilnahmebeitrag an den Veranstalter, erhalten aber nach der Reise von der Universität 260 Euro erstattet, das ist der Zuschuss, den die Landeskirche sowie das Institut nach der Exkursion geben werden.
Da die Exkursion reiserechtlich keine Universitätsveranstaltung, sondern eine Veranstaltung von Biblische Reisen ist, können auch Personen teilnehmen, die nicht an unserer Universität immatrikuliert sind; sie erhalten allerdings keinen Zuschuss von der Landeskirche und vom Institut. Sie können also Ihren Freund mitnehmen oder Ihre Oma!
Eine Info-Veranstaltung oder Vorbesprechung ist nicht geplant. Sollten Sie Fragen haben, stellen Sie diese bitte im Forum, das zu dieser Lehrveranstaltung angelegt wurde, ein. Sollte es aber ein sehr persönliches Anliegen sein, wenden Sie sich bitte direkt an den Dozenten.
Neben der Anmeldung in StudIP (für Studierende unserer Uni) erfolgt die eigentliche Anmeldung direkt beim Veranstalter (Biblische Reisen, Stuttgart). Anmeldeformulare und das genaue Programm stehen in StudIP zum Download zur Verfügung. Bitte geben Sie bei der Anmeldung an, mit wem Sie das Zimmer teilen wollen. Sollte das noch offen sein, schreiben Sie: "Beliebige Person [gegebenenfalls: gleichen Geschlechts] aus der Gruppe". Sie können sich aber auch über die StudIP-Plattform einen Zimmerpartner suchen. Sollten Sie ein Einzelzimmer wünschen, zahlen Sie 200 Euro Aufpreis.
Nach erfolgter und vom Veranstalter bestätigter Anmeldung (Nachweis durch PDF an den Dozenten), werden Sie in StudIP definitiv in die Exkursion aufgenommen.
